LifeSlept

Visualize how much of your life has been spent asleep.

LifeSlept is a tiny life-data experiment. You enter your age and average sleep hours, and it shows how much of your life has been spent asleep. It is intentionally simple because the result is the product. One number turns a familiar fact into something personal.

Problem

Everyone knows we sleep around a third of our lives, but that fact is too familiar to feel meaningful. I wanted to make it personal enough that someone would actually pause for a second and think about where their time goes.

Solution

Built a minimal calculator with live inputs, immediate visual feedback, and no extra clutter. The design keeps attention on the percentage because the emotional hit comes from seeing your own life converted into time asleep.

Outcome

Small weekend build, but it reminded me that a project does not need much surface area to work. If the framing is clear, one calculation can be more memorable than a dashboard full of charts.
